Organized by the Türkiye's Inclusive Employment and Consultancy Office for Individuals with Disabilities – Engelsizkariyer.com, the event brought together human resources representatives from national and international companies and candidates with disabilities seeking employment and internship opportunities. The organization hosted important meetings aimed at increasing the participation of individuals with disabilities in employment, strengthening equal opportunities, and promoting an inclusive employment approach in the business world.
During its visit, carried out upon the invitation of the organizers, the Disability Advisory and Coordination Unit of Istanbul Gelisim University toured the event area and gathered information about the participating companies' activities and practices regarding the employment of individuals with disabilities. Accessibility measures, reasonable accommodations, and initiatives supporting the participation of individuals with disabilities in working life were also observed firsthand.
As Istanbul Gelisim University, we continue our efforts to support the career development of our students and graduates with disabilities, strengthen their access to employment opportunities, and contribute to the development of a more inclusive society.
